Guided Historical Tour - 1hr

The Illawarra has a very wonderful history and we offer guided tours of the region along the bicycle path. Groups must be between 5-10 people and prices start from $40/person/tour there are several tour options including Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama municipalities. (bicycle, helmet, lock and maps included in price). A complimentary snack and beverage is also provided.

Find A Clue - time varies

Discover the Illawarra with our 'Find a Clue' using puzzles to uncover some of the regions history, natural wonders, local oddities, art, and special locations. We have various types of 'Find A Clue' puzzles starting from the very simple to more complicated ones. We can provide you with the puzzle and you can head off on your own, you could also arrange to have a guide accompany you or you can utilise this service and incorporate it into our team building seminars and use this to promote better understanding of your team its qualities and the places it needs to work together. Please refer to our team building strategie above. Good for groups of 2 or more. Prices start from $35/person/puzzle

Team Building Seminars

Presented by: Mobile Bike Rental and Fritz Fitness Lifestyle Management

Aim: Building common goals among teams, to improve communication and improve better support, personal initiative and risk taking using a cycling fitness activity.

Skills Training: Our strategy building and physical workout combined offer skills that are transferable to the workplace. The program includes;
- Identifying and acting on shared abilities
- Team and cross team problem solving
- Leadership and followership for teams
- Embracing difference and making it work
- Effective Communication Skills
- Creativity and Innovation

Programs framework:
Depending upon the length of the program;
- Longer programs allow time to identify Team issues and directions as well as ways in which one can prepare and act on what is discovered during the experience. Allowing more time to talk through ways in which teams can put into action the principles of working together successfully.

Start: (length 15-45min)
- Introduction to the principles of working together as a team successfully
- Outlining the current situation and the needs for improvement.
- Using the principles and applying them to the physical challenge

Activity: (length 30min - 1hr) Cycle/Fitness program or the option of a Find a Clue.

Debrief: (length 30-1hr min) Some debrief will take place during the activity enabling teams to evaluate along the way.

Team Program specifications and Logistics
-Length - 1.5hrs/3hrs/1 day
- Location - Illawarra foreshore bike track - outdoor - mobile program catering to the whole of the Illawarra.
- Group size - 5-20 (velodrome up to 100)
- Program facilitators - There is one facilitator for the introduction and debrief and a physical fitness facilitator for the activity.
- Budgeting - The prices vary on numbers however for a small group for up to 3hrs of training it is $90/person/program/hour. The prices vary depending on how large the group is, customisation needed, program length. This includes the facilitators, equipment and location.

Our 1.5 hour sessions are designed for a minimum booking of four sessions with the intention of teams returning to the work place and being able to apply what they have learnt and working on other issues that may arise with the cultural change in the team.

We also offer sessions at the Veledrome with an Olympian and Olympic Cycling Coach, please enquire about our Velodrome sessions so that we can provide you with a quote. Velodrome sessions can also support a greater number of people of up to 100 participants.

*in the near future we will also be offering an indoor team building seminar as a wet weather alternative or just if you would prefer an indoor option.

Group Fitness - 1hr 30min

Perhaps you would like to organise a group training session. We have professional fitness trainers (provided by Fritz Fitness Lifestyle Management) to provide your group with a bicycle fitness program. This program offers a fitness presentation including nutrition and instructional session incorporating bicycle training. A 45min-1hr bike ride and a 15min debrief. A minimum of 5 people. Prices for a group of 5 is $75/pp/session. We recommend to book more than one session for the benefit of the training, however we do cater for one off sessions.
