Bike Rental came about whilst we ourselves were looking to hire a bike
in the Illawarra and take advantage of the beautiful scenery in Wollongong
and the Surrounds. So to make life easier for all we decided to set
up a bicycle hire / bike rental business that accomodates all especially
sine you don't come to us we come to you. The aim is to cater to people
staying at any type of accomodation be it a hotel, resort, a home or
just visiting for the day, you give us a call and tell us where you
would like it dropped off and we bring the bikes to you.
Our
bicycle hire/rental operates in the Illawarra 7days a week 7am to 7pm.
Whilst
on this path of cycling and becoming part of the cycling industry we
came across Austcycle and realised the future is education and that
cycling education for the beginner and for safer cycling on our roads
was imperative. So we became Austcycle Providers, a nationally recognised
cycling skills program targeting beginners to advanced riders to become
better and safer riders knowing the basic skills and the road safety
rules.
We
offer regular cycling courses based at Main Campus of the University
of Wollongong and we cater for one off courses for private individuals
and businesses wanting to join the active living and reducing greenhouse
gases and improving our environment.
We
aspire to take this business further with other ideas but we will let
you know what they are once we get them off the ground.
